REFLECTION LETTER
My name is Patricia Banda and I have two daughters, one son and a granddaughter. They are the reason I continue pursuing a higher education. I’m employed at Incarnate Word Academy as an Administrative Assistant and ESL teacher.
The M.Ed. online program I’m pursuing is focused in Educational Technology. The thirty-six hour program is designed to prepare people in the K-12, higher education, corporate, and military settings to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for the classrooms of tomorrow. This program will allow me to use instructional technology, serve as a facilitator or director of instructional technology in a school and design instructional materials in a variety of media.
My goals are to implement all these skills and become a facilitator and train other teachers in the school campus I’m at. This is my first semester in this program but after collaborating with other classmates online, I’m already learning different technology tools I was not aware of before. I’m sure that with every class I take, my knowledge will increase and will be able to start integrating my new skills in my classroom.
